Hi — Aspects is built and supported by one person. Email me and I'll get back within a working day, usually faster.
It helps if you include:
- What you were doing when the problem happened.
- The platform (Mac, iPhone, iPad, or web) and OS version.
- A screenshot if it's a visual glitch — the more the better.
Common questions
I can't sign in
Two things to check first: that the email in the field is the one you used at checkout (Aspects auth is per-email, case-insensitive), and that you've confirmed it via the link Aspects sent you on signup. If you've forgotten your password, use Reset password and we'll mail you a one-time link.
Still stuck? Email me — I can re-send the confirmation or set a fresh password manually.
My renders aren't showing in the iOS app
The iOS app shows whatever the Mac app has uploaded to cloud. Three things have to be true:
- You're signed in on both Mac and iOS with the same email.
- Cloud Sync is on in the Mac app's Settings (it is by default).
- The Mac app has been launched (or focused) at least once since the export — sync runs on launch and on every window focus.
Newly-rendered exports usually appear in iOS within a few seconds of finishing the render. Pull-to-refresh in the iOS sidebar to force a re-fetch.
My folders aren't showing in the iOS app
Same flow as exports — the Mac is the source of truth for folder structure, and a sync round-trip fires on Mac launch / focus. If a folder you just created on Mac doesn't appear after a pull-to-refresh on iOS, quit and re-open the Mac app once.
I want to cancel or change my plan
Sign in here and open your account page; "Manage subscription" takes you to the Stripe Customer Portal where you can change tier, update your payment method, or cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then.
All Aspects purchases are final — we don't refund the one-time $9 app fee or any prorated subscription periods. If you cancel, you simply won't be charged again.
I want to delete my account
Email me from the address on the account. I'll cancel any active subscription, wipe your cloud-synced artboards and exports, and remove the auth record within 30 days. Your local Mac library is untouched — if you want that gone too, just delete the ~/Library/Application Support/Aspects/ folder.
Aspects is crashing or behaving oddly
Bug reports are gold. If you can, include the steps to reproduce, your macOS / iOS version, and a screenshot or screen recording. On Mac, you can also grab a crash log via Console.app → Crash Reports and attach it.
