What do I need to run it?: macOS 14 (Sonoma) or newer, on Apple Silicon or Intel. The build is a universal binary and takes about 150 MB on disk.
How do I install it?: Open the downloaded .dmg and drag Aspects to /Applications. On first launch, hold Control, click the app and choose Open if Gatekeeper objects.
What does the $19 app fee cover?: It's a single purchase that gives you the macOS app forever, with no recurring part and nothing to cancel. Buy it on its own, or start with a cloud tier and it rides along on your first invoice so you only check out once. The iPhone app comes with a tier rather than the $19, because it has nothing to show until your exports are in the cloud.
Do I need a cloud tier?: No. The $19 purchase is yours for good, and capture, framing, rendering and export all happen locally on your Mac. A tier adds cloud storage, the iPhone app, and publishing from your iPhone. Take one when you want that, cancel when you don't.
Can I switch tiers later?: Yes. Open the Stripe customer portal from the Aspects account menu (or the web /account page) and switch any time, with the difference prorated.
How long do my exports stay in the cloud?: As long as you keep them. Exports don't expire, so clean up the history yourself when something's no longer useful. Local copies on your Mac stay put either way.
Refunds?: All sales final. We deliberately don't run trials, because the price points are low enough to start small and upgrade as you go.
