1. What Aspects is

Aspects is a macOS application that renders web pages, images, video, and icon designs to image and video files. "Aspects", the app, and this website are operated by the maker, hereafter "we".

2. Your account

You may use Aspects without an account for the free-tier export quota. To purchase a Pro subscription, you create an account using a valid email address. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure. We use Supabase for authentication and Stripe for payment processing — your credentials never touch our servers.

3. Pricing & subscriptions

Aspects is sold in two parts: a one-time $9 USD app purchase (universal — Mac + iPhone), and a recurring subscription on one of three tiers (Base, Growth, or Pro), billed monthly or yearly. Both are required to use the app — there is no free tier and no trial. Your subscription card is charged at the start of each billing period. You can cancel any time from your account page or the Stripe customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and your features stay active until then. After that, your account drops into a read-only state — your library and cloud previews stay accessible, but new exports are blocked until you reactivate.

4. Refunds

All sales are final. Aspects doesn't offer refunds on the $9 app purchase or on any subscription period — monthly or yearly. The price points are intentionally low so you can start small and upgrade as you go. Cancel renewal at any time from the Stripe customer portal; you keep access for the remainder of the period you've already paid for.

5. Your content

Aspects renders content that you provide — websites you load, images and video you import. You retain all rights to that content. We don't upload, store, or analyze any of it; rendering happens on your machine.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Aspects to render content that violates third-party rights (copyright, privacy), to harass or harm others, or to circumvent technical protections on websites. Server-side, you agree not to abuse the authentication endpoints (e.g. credential stuffing).

7. Disclaimers

Aspects is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee fitness for any particular purpose, and we're not liable for loss of data, revenue, or anything else arising from your use of the app. Total liability under these terms is capped at the amount you've paid us in the preceding twelve months.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; meaningful changes will be announced by email to subscribers. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
