Who is responsible

The data controller is Sai Design Lab Technology Studio Aktiebolag, company registration number 559543-7277, Renstiernas Gata 46, 116 31 Stockholm, Sweden. Contact: hi@aspectsapp.com.

What we process, and why

• Your email address, to give you an account and send account email. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Payment and subscription status, to sell you the app and run your subscription. Card details go to Stripe and we never see them. Legal basis: performance of our contract, and our legal obligation to keep accounting records.
• Your synced library, if you leave Cloud Sync on: artboard names and settings, thumbnails, and a record of each export with a small preview. Your exported files are uploaded too, so you can reach them from the iPhone app; you can turn that off in Settings while keeping the rest of sync. The images and videos you import stay on your device. Legal basis: performance of our contract.
• Website analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies. Legal basis: your consent.

We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.

Who processes it for us

• Supabase: accounts and database.
• Stripe: payments and the billing portal.
• Netlify: hosting for this website.
• Google Analytics: website measurement, only with your consent.

These providers may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it.

How long we keep it

Account and library data is kept while your account exists, and deleted within 30 days of you asking us to close it. Records needed for accounting are kept for seven years, as Swedish law requires. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Cookies

Two cookies are always set, because the site cannot work without them: one keeps you signed in, one remembers your choice on the cookie banner. Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) are set only if you accept them, and nothing is written to your device before you do. There are no advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting what came before. Email hi@aspectsapp.com to exercise any of these.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you can complain to the Swedish authority, IMY.
